Hi friends, this is my car's profile:

Bought 2 years ago from a very (VERY!) sad guy with serious financial problems.

Dodge Magnum 1982 (Mex)
Factory installed V8 360, 4Bbl Thermoquad, 4 speed A833
8.25 rear end with 3.23 gears
Factory A/C
Front bucket seats
Factory color White (re-painted Red very early in his life)
Burgundy interiors.
Traction bars (installed by the last owner, he was building a weekend drag toy, barely noticeable in this pic)
Dual Exhaust
Factory No CAT and no emissions control

This is the engine, in almost stock form (just replaced the spark plug cables)

Modifications:
Complete block rectification, including crankshaft polished, new valves and all the stuff related (6 months ago)
Block opened .030
New Silvolite dish pistons
Compcams camshaft (mild street/strip, sorry, I don't know the full details)
New Holley 750CFM, 4 Bbl Carb
Edelbrock performer intake
Holley aircleaner http://www.holley.com/data/products/pictures/large120-148.jpg
Summit digital CD ignition unit http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=SUM-850600&N=700+400304+4294925143+4294925127+4294908364+115&autoview=sku
Accel coil
Accel 8.5mm spark plug cables
New high volume oil pump
Dodge caravan 110A alternator
Dodge Truck 80 mph, black face speedometer (the original had broken gears)
Replaced speedometer cable and its duct (not sure of the word for the hose protecting the cable). The duct was replaced with a truck air brake's hose (I couldn't find the original part. Sometimes you just got to use what you have on hand  :p )
Sunpro Tach
New rear brake drums
New clutch
Flywheel rectified
New tires
Door panels recovered
Electric fan in front of the radiator, thermostat controlled (we have very hot summers)

This is how the engine bay looks currently. This pic was taken before the installation of the Summit ignition and the caravan's alternator.

Current work and future modifications:
Body work (starting as soon as I get the cash  ). The main trouble spots are: windshield right upper corner (rotten some time ago, the last owner just put a lot of bondo and repaint it), driver door lower front corner (a little rust hole), driver side floor (some little rust holes under the clutch pedal)
Whole interiors, including carpet and seats (the original bucket seats are F.U.B.A.R.) also, I'm 6' 3", so, for me, the stock driver seat was a little too close to the steering. I have the seats of a wrecked 96 camaro and I'm working to install them in the magnum (the rear seats will look great if I only can figure out how to attach them to the floor without welding). Currently, only the driver seat is semi-installed (only the door side is attached to the floor, the other side is 2" away from the original mounting holes in the floor)
Sure grip or some kind of locking differential.

I'll be posting more pics.

Hi Remy-Z!!

Check this pic, is a little old (when I begin the interior removal to clean/repair), it shows the floor shifter (the shifter handle is a plastic translucent sphere with a little golden Dodge badge inside) and the bulge:

Currently, the whole interior is out of the car (except for the driver seat), I'll take and upload some more detailed pics soon.

Hi Admin!

This is the badge in the passenger side of the trunk

I'm not sure, but it looks like if one of the original owners (I'm the third owner of this car) had sprayed the current red paint over the original chromed plastic badge and then removed it (the car's factory color is white) so, this is the result. Also, I found part of a "Magnum" plastic badge under the back seat, too damaged to be recovered and the Dodge badge (or lettering) is missing (maybe to get a sporty, clean-shaved look)

The little side windows has the same white characters:

Sorry for the low quality pics (taken with my cell phone, my wife took my digital camera), also, the car is ver very dirty (lots of wind and dust in the last days) sorry

A pic from the grill, passenger side. Check the little radiator behind the grill.

This cars come with a factory installed engine oil radiator.

Some months ago, I meet a guy (my local auto insurance agent) who used to drive one of this toys, (a brand new one, back in the 80's). He said this cars were the best in the highway, eating monte carlos and mustangs as appetizers, without sweating, thanks to this little details.

Best regards!
