cool can i mod my 2bbl linkage to work? or do i need to hunt some down?

Your post with the pictures wasnt there when I replied so you can forget most of what I said. that kickdown stuff you bought is the right kind all you really need to change is that bracket that goes ontop of the engine and the linkage that goes to the carberator. The one with the long slot in it. Then you just need to check if the kickdown is adjusted properly, the instructions for doing that is in the library area.

cool but why do i need to change the bracket and the linkage that gose to the carb? it came off a car that had a TQ on it a 1970 something Dart with a 318 4bbl

No thats all you need to change on your car. From the kickdown parts you got from the dart those are the only 2 things you need.

To use that linkage you have pictured you have to have the boss on the side of the bell housing that the lower pivot bolts to. Also before you tear anything apart make sure the throttle cable bracket clears the runners on that aluminum intake.
