I have a 1987 Chrysler Fifth Avenue that I've owned since 2005. It was my first car, and I got it when I was 16.
Since then, almost everything about it has been ripped out and changed. The drivetrain is entirely new, with a .30 over 360 attached to an A727 and run through an 8.25" SG rear end with 2.94 gears. The carb is an Edelbrock 1406 and the camshaft is a Comp 268H 268/.454. The heads are essentially stock, but with Comp 995 springs. The transmission is rebuilt, but still basically stock.
The suspension is mostly rebuilt and replaced. It has an AHB rear sway bar, Addco 1 1/8" front sway bar, police shocks all around, 5 leaf HD springs in the rear, poly bushings on all the sway bars, and most of the joints, steering linkages and bushings have been replaced. As an added bonus, it has a set of aluminum subframe bushings. The tires are BFG T/As, 235/70/R15. They just barely touch the front of the wheel trim under heavy cornering.
The interior was redone with new fabric in 2012. It has a cop car speedo, some Sunpro gauges, a new head unit, a tach, and a B&M Hammer shifter.
