That's harder to do than you think. The gauges and idiot lights are part of one cluster to the left of the speedo. It pretty much all needs to come out for the new gauges to fit.

You could always use the wiring from the brake light to light up an LED or something.

I just figure if I lose my brakes, I'll figure it out.

thats true. i know its all one big part with all 4 in it. i was just thinking maybe cut the other 3 out with a drimmel, i really dont need the lights but there are only so many gauges to put in ya know.

The new gauges won't clear the printed circuit board behind the cluster. That's the only real problem with just taking a dremel to that cluster.

The only reason I have a vacuum gage is to fill that 4th hole. :D

Yup 4324. The 3314 is for non tilt columns and the 2ND gen rams lol

what size steering wheel is best you think? i was thinking maybe one size smaller then stock.

All depends on what you like. Got a 14" in my 5th, a 13" in my ram and a 10" in the d'art

235/70/R15. Rubs ever so slightly at the front of the wheelwell. Never bothered me so I never did anything about it.

In retrospect I might have gone 225/70 or 235/60.
