Well, Ive been here for a while, and figured i'd might as well make one of these..lol
Heres my 86 Dodge Diplomat, AHB package. Right now, its got 190,000 plus miles (i assume) and ive been spending the last year or so fixing all of the neglect that was sent its way before i got it. I paid 500 bucks in jan. '10 and have since replaced the choke, starter, numerous hoses, all belts, fuel filter, battery, ground cables, water pump, timing cover and chain, fuel lines, and done other little things like routine maintenence, and whatnot.
Currently, its being used as my daily driver, so im going to start things off by doing the magnum head swap to my current 318. Probably adding a new cam, and possibly headers..if my spending money allows. Once i can park the car, and have had my fun with the 318, im going to yank it in favor for a 360 magnum/727 trans/3.23 or 3.55 gear, leaving the 8 1/4. I also have plenty of body work to do, along with redoing the interior, freshening up the suspension, and a lot of wiring changes. When its done, itll be my summertime fun ride, and will be built to cruise, run down the strip well, and do autocross well.
The first picture was taken the day i got the car. The second was taken 1 year after i got the car. The third was taken in early July, after a detailed wash and wax. The fourth is the intake, and carb being used for my engine build. An intake off of a 340, and a Thermoquad off of a 440.
