good looking in their time, though they look dated by today's standards. From Chrysler Cordoba Registry Home Page |

| Paul Villwock brought my attention to his
1981 Dodge Mirada, and provided the following commentary on it:
"It was my first car (that I drove daily) which is like your first
love, something you can't forget. It is now in storage with my other
Mopars (~7). It has a rebuilt 318 and tranny thanks to its previous
abusive owner. It is an '81 with pre '75 era emissions thanks to a Mopar
magazine article and now breathes a little easier. You can also see now
that it has a 318 V8 powerplant - after removing a 10 lb. air cleaner, 6'
of pipe, air pump, and endless feet of wire harness. It rides on '78
Chrysler Newport rims in the photo. It currently is in need of a Y-pipe
but they don't make the tri-catalytic converters Y-pipe any more.
Supposedly you can get the '80 Y-pipe with out converters. I may just
stick on dual exhaust, a rejetted Carter Thermoquad and an Elbrock
Streetmaster intake." I always enjoy seeing an abused Mopar
finding a good home in the end myself. From Paul T. Villwock Jr. - PTVJR's Home Page |
