This 1986 Diplomat SE is unique in that the
headlights are configured in what was traditionally the Chrysler style for
the "M" Body. High trim level Diplomats (SE) borrowed the
Fifth Avenue front end to lend the appearance of being more of a mid range
luxury car. They still had a relatively sloped rear window.
The odd-fronted Diplomats are easy to spot by the Dodge
"cross-hair" grille visible in this image.

cruiser outfitted with a ramming-speed bumper grille.
