A loaded 1987 Diplomat I found for sale
online for under $400. |

Another loaded Diplomat for sale, this one a
1988, also under $400. They sure are getting cheap lately. |
 |
Nothing special to tell about this 1986
Diplomat I found for sale online. |

Marty Costello's 1982 Dodge Diplomat Police

The Cookie Volcano "Now Sound"
Dodge Diplomat. Cookie Volcano is a small recording company based in
Omaha. Apparently members of a band called "The Dependables"
(shown posing with the Diplomat) drive it around and honk the musical horn
at people. Oh yeah, the inspiration to name the group The
Dependables came from a 1964 Dodge Dart advertisement.

A 1978 Diplomat that Mike Taylor found for
sale online. At the time of sale it had 119,000 miles, and featured
just about every option available, including p/locks, p/windows, p/seats,
tilt column, and leather interior, all moved along by that familiar 318
V8. The owners were asking $800. |

Another online advertisement photo.
Thanks to Mike Taylor for pointing me towards these photos. This is
a 1987 Diplomat, with all options and power all. |

This one is a 1983, the ad said the engine
runs great, car runs smooth, but the transmission needed some work. |

Online ad. 1986 Dodge Diplomat.
Can you tell I'm getting tired of typing in all the details, when they all
sound the same? |
 |
For a change of pace, this ad was the newest
Diplomat one can hope to find, a 1989. And what made the deal
sweeter is that this one was a former police car. For $900,
I'll take one! |
