The front and back paintings on the 1977
Dodge Diplomat/Chrysler Lebaron Service Manual show the comings and goings
of an "M" Body coupe. The arrival sketch is of course on
the front cover, and the departure on the rear. |

Dave Arnold delivers again with these photos
and the accompanying description: "Found in a parking lot, Fort
Collins, Colorado... Christmas Eve.... obviously not setting out cookies
and milk by the fire place."

This nice looking S Type Diplomat was sent in
with the following information: "1980 S-Type, T-Top, 318, Auto.
with console, Air, Buckets and Rally Wheels. The car is rust-free
with 106,000 miles. A real nice car. It will be for
sale. Does anybody know the approximate value???? Dan
Fassnacht - Ephrata, PA. 717-859-3021." My first guess
would be in the neighborhood of $2,000 - $3,000, but I can't afford that
myself. This picture posted 1/10/2000, so if you're seeing it
relatively soon after that maybe you can find out if it's still available.

From eBay, here's a 1978
Diplomat wagon on a Factory/Dealer promotional postcard. The caption
on the back reads "A luxury sedan when you want it. A cargo
specialist when you need it." New photo thanks to Joe from
Toronto. |

Sarah's 1988 Diplomat SE named Jezebel, or
"Jezzi" to those who know her well enough. Jezzi replaced
an '86 Ford Mustang, and so far Sarah does not seem to have any
regrets. Jezzi also boasts a power sunroof, which is not too common
among Diplomats.

In April 2003, Sarah emailed in this update:
I sold my precious Jezebel for $1,330.00. I bought a 2001 Chevy Impala. An old guy bought her and I sometimes see him around my town. He just LOVES HER TO DEATH! He plastered a bunch of bumper stickers on the back though! :0(

Cody Linneberg's 1981 Dodge Diplomat 2 Door
Salon, a very good looking car. He's started a new Diplomat Page
that has the essence of the way Farley's Page got off the ground.
See more photos and get the latest maintenance updates at his very nice Dippy
Homepage.
