The often rumored but never photographed
"M" Body Dodge Dart has now been captured to film. Here is
a 1981 Dodge Dart Coupe with 45,000 miles, purchased and owned in Mexico. According to
its owner, Dr. José Marcos, the Mexican Dart was only available in Mexico
from 1980 to 1981, and the 1980 had the earlier grille design from the
pre-1980 U.S. version. Dr. Marcos will confirm this information and
update Farley's Page if there are any changes to those facts as
posted. Interestingly, this car has the gray colored grille often
associated with the Plymouth variants of the "M", but the grille
clearly reads "Dodge". Many huge thanks to Dr. Marcos for sharing
