Title: spotlight bulb clips, Unity 250 series
Post by: fury fan on August 25, 2010, 15:40:31
Hi all!

I'm new to this board but I've been in Mopars about 20 years.  I can usually netsurf and find what I need, but no luck so far on this one...

My 'new' 88 Dippy copcar has a Unity 250 series and the bulb is loose in the housing.  There are a bunch of loose metal clips in there but I can't figure out how they work.  Anyone have a picture or diagram of how these clips are oriented???   :pound:

My understanding, though I have never had to try it myself, is to just replace the whole head/bulb assembly with another than to try to fuss with those clips. You can try www.unityusa.com to see if they have some sort of schematic that may be helpful.

Thanks for the reply!  I tried their website yesterday but didn't find anything on the clips.  I'll keep my eye out for an intact one at the next swap meet and try to mess with the clips again, maybe I'll get lucky.

I'm in Indianapolis.  I need to update my profile on that.
