Exhaust pipe below oil pan
« on: May 16, 2020, 18:32:21 »

A while back I swapped out the steering gear. However, You must remove the drive side catalytic converter. However i could not get the bolts lose so i ended up removing the left exhaust manifold and using a sawzall to cut the exhaust pipe below the oil pan. At the time not realizing that the top of the pipe is flat.

So I have been driving for years now with an exhaust leak where the pipe was cut.

I want a clamp so that it can be removed. Since i need to replace the steering gear again since the one i got was faulty.

Anyone have any ideas on a clamp for the pipe with a flat side?
