got the hood off, engine bay wireing out, got the coil and voltage regulater (never no when youll need an extra) master cylinder loose, heater hoses off, front clip loose except the 2 bolts that go through the frame, and got the 2 rear cab mount bolts out, and took my dart window cranks back lol

got the front clip n doors off and the seat pulled out



then pulled it up and got the cab and tranny off




the frame is now behind the garage infront of my shed, just gotta pull some more junk off it and i can drop a 318/727 combo on it and mock up the cab on it, but that wont be for a lil while cuz this week i gotta get the rear axle for the 5th and get that put in, wendsday im gettin a tooth pulled, and friday the fiance is coming up, so who knows when ill get back to it

ya i proposed to her when i was down there a couple weeks ago.

and ya progress is coming good, and thats only becuase im sellin the cab and fron clip, if it wasnt for that, the truck would still be sittin in the woods

i'm lookin forward to seeing the cab sitting on the frame.

its sad though, what i would do for a dak like that.
i want a 318/8.25 5spd dakota so bad.

take the little motor out, and put the V8, in. and have a tire burning frenzy

you got a dak dont ya? with a lil fabing to the motormounts it 318 should drop right in, the v6 is basicly a 318 thats had two cylinders choped off

its a 4banger, and its my dads.

i want it so bad.

but the tranny needs a syncronizer for 1st gear.

i'll get my own one day.

ya theres alot more aftermarket goodies for the 2nd gens, but theyre too new for me

i like them, because its a more dependable vehicle from a certain standpoint.

i still want a carburated V8 in it, so i'm probally best off with an older one

ya i think they want $1000 too much
it would be a good starter, but needs a lot of work
you can find better ones for the same price
