Yesterday we got 8-10 in of snow in Southeast Wisoconsin, with 35 mph wind gusts, had me shoveling 3 feet of drift snow in the back of my driveway. Couldn't go to work, car would get stuck right out of the driveway, city didn't plow our street until 6pm  what a miserable day. Now we are supposed to have another 4-6 inches.

That's pretty well my story too.
Spent 3 1/2 hrs shoveling.
The snow was a high as the door handles on my other Dip.
All 4 drs are frozen again, so I had to shovel around it.

It may be 16*F here and my water lines may be frozen solid, but at least it ain't snowin' or icin'

Got more snow overnight and more in the last 2hrs.
And it's blowing.

Another at least 2-3 hrs of shoveling.

Nothing better to do on the weekend than shovel, so nature tells me.

Its been snowing for about an hour now. I cant see out the window its blowing all over the place and theres a foot on the ground. Guess Im not going to bother going anywhere today. Or maybe I will. There shouldnt be too many people out.

water still out. it was going until i decided to take my shower, then bam! just stopped. i even washed my dishes just 5 min before. how it did so that quickly is beyond me  one of my reasons i hate winter. it's not the hose, it's frozen at the water main itself 

Oh and the beautiful part, it's a nice sunny 18*F.

put either hay or vermiculite on your water main... and heep that heat tape on it. im not back to work yet since my injury, but i know my crew is busting their you know what on service calls for people too scared to go out and do it them selves. lucky me... in october when i impailed myself and got that nasty infection, i woulda never thought i woulda been out for 2 months. and im with everyone else that is wondering why all the things that break when its cold, are under the car. I gotta go fix a "rusted" through freeze plug...on my pick up. its the only thing i got thats 4wd

Help!

Got up this morning 5am, thought I'd go to Walley's when it's still quiet.
Was greeted by bumper high on a Dip snow.

Took a few tries to get out of the driveway. Had to plow a path, so back till it got stuck, then all the forward and a reverse "go 4 it"

For the 1st time in 10 yrs, I said NO WAY to shoveling, got on Kijij and got a plow out.
