I know its just tuff finding the right kickdown linkage. I was considering one off of a 4 bbl 360 727 ram... would it be relatively similar?

how difficult would it be to add "factory" power locks to my 84 AHB Gran Fury?

or something along these lines:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/POWER-LOCK-WINDOW-BUNDLE-4-DOOR-CAR-TRUCK-POWER-WINDOW-KEYLESS-DOOR-UNLOCK-/171022984916?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ADiplomat&hash=item27d1c3a6d4&vxp=mtr

and how about using the stock power window/door lock controls..if i can find any?

Is there any other way to get the manufacture date of my car?

The door sticker has been removed an replaced and there is not any information on it.

It should be on the fender tag, Sometimes you can find a build sheet in the interior (I found mine stuffed under the driver seat and I know another guy that found one behind the rear seat back) that'll have it too

i checked a few places for the build sheet, ill check several more. where on the fender tag would the manufacture date be? on the second plate there are a group of numbers:
Could this be it?
25 067406

Update: I followed the service manual description of the fender tag it lists the next three digits after engine code is the month and day, while its not in the exact place the manual suggests; the next digits after ELE (engine code) is 602, so I believe it is June 2nd of 1984, which I believe is correct because the purchase date was 6-29-84 in service date with the NHP was 7-26-84.

So I went to put a stock radio back in my 84 AHB and low and behold it had no speakers, which I figured, cause it only came with an AM radio from the factory. But I checked my other Gran Fury from 87 and it had speakers and a harness. So I ripped that car apart took the harness and speakers and put them in my 84  so it all looks stock now and works, sounds pretty good for 30 years old. Some of the trim was tricky to get off and some of it broke because it had been sitting in the sun for a long while.

Any idea where I could get matching paint for plastic that matches the dark blue interior? Advance auto parts had some that was kinda close just wanted to ask before I bought some.

So....since old NHP parts (radio, lights, etc.) are extremely difficult to come by. I have decided to try and find out if my agency used M bodies in the 80s and if they did ill restore it to look like one of our old units.

However if my agency didn't use them i think i will restore it to look like a Gran Fury in Miami Vice:

Not a bad idea- or maybe even pour over a color book at the local autobody paint supply store and see what you can come up with

Why would you want to do that unless you plan on being in Parades or shows?
You would have to cover up the cop stuff everytime you drove it on the street.

Remember the Hazzard County Roscoe P. fury that was pulled over by the cops
because it had all the cop car markings and lights?

Leave it as a Under cover car and enjoy it wthout the hassle.

To an extent yeah....I'm still trying to find the actual statute. But I have heard that being a commissioned peace officer. We MAY equip personal vehicles with emergency equipment...some do some don't. But I have not fully confirmed it yet.

I still haven't decided which way I'll go. Got to get it insured and registered/inspected first.
