That looks really cool. I like the "360" decal on the air cleaner, it just looks right.
Thanks. The last 360 I had I used the "pie tin" one, but I like the way the factory one looks more. Ten dollars including shipping off ebay, and it is "authenic reproduction". I got two of them. Wish I had a reason to get the one you have

Yeah, how about a dash cam video of a 0-100 romp...I'll turn up my speakers.

It took me a second to figure out what you meant, I forgot what my avatar was...

You'll see it installed here in a few months.  :whist:

Larry,
We nearly made the call just last week...would have loved to actually...but work is just way to crazy...we are launching a major project in Brazil within the next couple of weeks and there is no way my boss is going to let me get away for the kids' March break!!!

I'm impatiently awaiting the video...lol!

It's good to see that you got the motor in.  It practically looks like it could have rolled off the line like that.  Great job and here is another vote for video.

Now that the 360 is installed the only thing you should need to change regularly  is tires...

Thanks. I replaced the poly trans mount yesterday with an OEM "w/HD package" one....much better...for some reason, this car has alot of vibration with that poly trans mount (I also have the aluminum K frame isolaters), same as with the old motor, trans and converter. Now I just gotta get the linkage adjusted right for shifts and kick down. I can't manually pull it down to 1st gear, and I have to push up hard on the column shifter to get the key out of the ignition....just needs a little adjustment. Even with just 2.94 gears, it wants to light up the tires, even on a rolling start. I have to change the thermostat. I forgot the engine came with one (it was packaged at the bottom of the crate), so I bought a 180 degree one. After I had already bought it, I discovered the 195 degree one that came with motor. The temp gauge barely moves up after driving for a long time. It is definetly not reaching optimal operating temp. It is starting to get fun now that everything is in, and nothing leaks!!

Next time you make it this way we will have to meet up. Sorry we couldn't last time.

On a side note, I have been to Rio with my Dad....exciting city, with awesome beaches.
