That is one beautiful car. I love the color. You can hang anytime!

Thanks!   :thumb:

How did you clean up the breather good enough to get the goldish shine back? Where did you get the decal for the drivers side valve cover? You repainted it right? Is that the Mopar Blue? I have a few cans of Mopar Blue from Duplicolor so I can paint the engine in my Monaco, I hope it turns out that good.

The breather is new, so that is why the shine. I can't take credit for that. I taped off the driver's side sticker, so it is the original. The paint is Duplicolor I believe, but can't remember for sure. I will check the can when I get home from work, but it is a name brand "Chrysler" engine paint from local parts store.

Captain; the wheels painted to that beautiful body color really make it look extra good!

Thanks.
I had the idea of painted rims and doggies from day one.
Everyone was saying "keep the original hubs"
But I just had to have cop caps.
Like I said...
It's a problem...
I'm getting counseling now...   :w00t:

Wow Captain, that looks brand new. Gotta love that legendary motor!
Sublime: my mistake; the paint I used on my engine is Plasti-kote engine enamel "Chrysler Blue 232"

It turned out pretty good
But I did screw a couple of things up.
#1.. I didn't use "high heat on the air cleaner housing and it's not holding up.
#2.. I painted the exhaust manifold black (should be the same blue)
Oh well... I'll fix those up at my trailer this summer.
Live and learn.   :whist:

While the 360 was out I painted it MoPar blue and that turned out really nice. I think I used some of the Plasticote on that though, I'm not quite as into the Duplicolor as that Plasticote and the MoPar paint, they hold up well for motor work.

It's important to go all-out prepping if you start- you can make the surface harder to stick on by half-waying it.

Duplicolor's website lists it as DE1631.

Or you can check this too.
