2008 Chrysler classic Brice rd.
« on: May 17, 2008, 22:59:55 »

I was rather disappointed at the turnout his year but with $4.00 for gas and the anticipated rain I think alot of folks chose to stay home.  As always I feel obligated to do a couple burnouts to represent my hometown. these are hot off the press photos taken less than an hour ago

The lot where the prev owner stored the veh was trimming some trees and dropped a limb on it. There also a good amount of damage on the roof. The trans was rebuilt and a shift kit installed 5 miles before the accident happened and the owner just got frustrated and sold it to me. I have every intention of repairing it but I am also trying to finish my GranFury so the bodywork will have to wait. The paint is pretty rough as well but with new suspension components , Brakes, MP ignition conversion already installed and only 67,000 miles on the odometer I will just have to get by without impressing anyone just yet.

Hey Jason  I have a good fender off an 81 Dip.  If that will work for you contact me at [email protected]  and we'll work something out.  And yes the Classic was the saddest I have been to in the last 10 years.

I didn't make the trip this year.  Turnout seemed lighter than usual last year too when gas was a bargain at $3.  :(

Nice burn.  :thumb:

No  I was only stating that my car is not exactly in stock form, I have aMP ignition kit, but I also have a built A999 with HD bands new ujoints and I am always sure to stop the tires before reaching dry pavement. Other than engine performance the ignition kit has no effect on the trans. I am sure I set a bad example for you, after reading the other post I almost withdrew mine. You must be aware of the risks involved in anything you do with your car. Lets say your Trans doesn't "grenade" it just breaks internally. Do you have any other methods of transportation? could you fund a rebuild? I am not telling you, you can't do it as you can see I love agood burnout but it is very hard on your car so be very careful
