Just thought I'd mention that on a Showroom thread for Darth car
I've still yet to see Darth car.....    :whist:

Ya know what it is?  Its like a hook they use in show business or on the radio.
“TUNE IN TOMORROW TO SEE “DARTH CAR” GRACE US WITH ITS APPEARANCE!!!  But first a word from our sponsors……..Men, do you have low "T"?…..”
Funny thing is, it’s working.  I keep coming back….

It may sound like a line, but my beautiful bride has lost my digital camera.  As soon as it surfaces I promise pictures.

Hey, that’s a good idea!  What songs are most compatible to the M-body?  It could be anything.  Either a song from the year of your car, or just something that’s sounds cool.
“Hip to Be Square” by Huey Louis and the News comes to mind.  Its era appropriate and, well…the car is a box.
“Highway to Hell” by AC/DC could be a good fit.  Can’t you just see Nicolas Cage in that movie "Drive Angry" in a Rat Rod “M” Coupe?  (Yeah, I know it wasn’t in the movie, but it should have been.)
“In America” by Charlie Daniels.  Came out in 1980, thought it was cool then, still is.
“Rockin down the Highway” by the Doobie Brothers.  This can be any car.
I’ve got a whole bunch more, but what do you guys think?

By the way, I'm not trying to hijack the thread.  Just trying to fill some "dead air" till Darth makes a fashionably late appearance.  This would be the part of the show where the host is quickly running out of ideas to keep the audience from totally trashing the place.

This is the point in the show where we play the live version of Free Bird, or Miss American Pie.  Both tunes were used by DJ's in days of old to kill time for the host to dash to the bath room.  So I'm placing these tunes on the big spinning platter while I go in search of the camera.

There is only so much smashing I can do before I start to question the entire thing.   I've had an epiphany, "Darth Car" doesn't  exist.  Its not real guys.  Just like "Bigfoot", the "Easter Bunny", "BatKid", and the "Queen of England".... :D ....it's all made up.  I'm becoming a "Darth Car" denier.  I'm convinced that any pictures shown are nothing more than true believers trying to pass off some average, run of the mill jalopy as the mythical "Darth Car".  I can just see it now, there will be "Darth Car" sightings all over the news in a vain attempt to prove its existence.  Books will be written, a reality show of "Darth Car" hunters will be made, some clown at Harvard or Yale will make his dissertation on it.  Its a passing fad, so don't get fooled my friends, its a trick.  Its nothing more then a modern day incarnation of "Y2K"......

I'm gonna catch hell for this aren't I?
