Well got part one of the 3 part "Snow-margetten" :pound:
With the winds blowing 50mph+ for 6 hrs, we got some over the bumper/give it gas and don't let up drifts. :driving: Well at least it's only 17F + wind chill, -8c for the high
I'm dragging the undercarriage through the snow in my part of town.
Front of my car is all caked in, and I don't really want to bust my grille.
But hey, my Dip and 4 snows, the drive home was a pc of cake. :p

Got about 3 hrs of digging to do.

started as sleet today down by work. turned to snow and sleet alternating every hour or so all day. then to rain in the PM.  Mostly snow up here by home.  2 snow tires and 2 decent front tires + lots of weight in the trunk, didn't have any problem driving all day. (except maybe dealing with idiots in SUVs... :pound

We got about a foot today, then it drifted... it was pretty windy all day too.
I did the driveway about 10:30am, then did the neighbor's. I went back out at about noon, & had to do both driveways again.
The plow truck did pretty well.
I attached a couple of pics of what things looked like just after noon.

Yeah, it's a little snowy even down here in Windsor. I spent about an hour out with the kids yesterday afternoon getting the driveway clean...and I certainly do NOT have a large driveway (heck, park 2 cars and it's done...LOL).

Mostly rain here, the ground is saturated long already so it puddles on the grass then runs off. Makes it miserable walking the dog.

I'm still looking at the snow wondering why it's still in my driveway. >:(
Well I guess I gotta get up off my butt and shovel it. :pound:

2 1/2 hrs if I can get into my other Dip or 3 if I have to shovel around it.

Another storm tomorrow. :x

Why does everything on our cars and anything else we own always tend to break whenever it's too cold to work on fixing them?!

Spent the last two days reconstructing my outdoor water line when it was 23*F outside because even with heat cable the %#$# thing froze solid. Haven't seen the sun in two weeks. and it's supposed to snow and get to 9*F, which is unheard of in Kentucky

I hate winter too, gloomy, dark, nothing growing, not one bird chirping or any wildlife, only makes it seem more lifeless. i'd be in debt to any doctor who can induce true hibernation in humans so i could simply bulk up, go to bed, and wake up and it be spring! think about it, less energy spent, less food wasted (you'd be living off fat reserve, and wouldn't need to eat all winter) heating/electric bills reduced since it is irrelevent, no gas used since you won't be driving, and plus, SKIPPING WINTER!
