I missed this Mike.    The last time I enjoyed snow as just before I became old enough to drive....    The roads are clear now but even today, many of the merge lanes were still blocked in places causing accidents and terrible traffic jams. Last Friday was even worse with entire lanes disappearing in spots.  I went in last Friday and I wish that hadn't after cussing all the way home.....   I didn't even bother going in today because I didn't feel like dealing with it again.  No snow in the works for the next few days, so I'm hoping that we can squeak through February.  March snow usually doesn't stay long around here. - RR

Spring hit hard this week Temps rose from 14F to 65F in a week. Last week the ice bridge to Mukalucluc was no problem. A week later trucks were falling through and all the CO2 machines couldn't keep up. The bridge collapsed last night.
Gonna get some heavy rain on Sat...to wash the salt off the road and take away the brown snow.
I think I'll switch cars from the 87 Dip to the Medallion next week.
I still expect snow in April, so the fork isn't in IMHO

Have the same weather system here. If I was more south, it would be called a 'tropical storm'

well, the last 24 hours has been nothing but torrential rain, tornados, thunderstorms, etc!!!!   Our rain has been measured in feet, not inches.  Widespread flooding!!!   working in the shop has been like working at the bottom of a lake!

The only problem with the weather here is with the working people. All week it's nice, every weekend it rains. Can't do any shiney car weekend cruising.

Lots of rain. All week. As soon as a break comes it gets really hot and then it rains again. It's been piling up quick too. In 10 minutes some of these only somewhat low roads have been accumulating several inches. My stuff's been dirty so that's alright.

After this morning's drive to Seattle and back, all I need to know is that I'm sick of it, whatever month it is. It's not cool that Feburary was bright and sunshine-y and that late May sucks this bad. Where the (...........!) is summer?!!

We just got hit by a snow bomb. It was sunny this morning, then 3 streamers came across warm Lake Huron and formed in a snow bomb about 20 miles wide. I didn't get the F/A inside, so now it's covered in snow. The AHB is parked inside, so I might as well have one dry car over putting a soggy F/A in the garage.
I 'WAS' gonna put the F/A into the winter storage location today. Everything looked OK weather wise-until the wind changed just a bit.

Schools, St Joe's and Victoria Hospitals, business' closed. No subway service or street cars They're pulling the busses off the road at 11pm. No CP passenger service. Greyhound only limited service. They're closing the Airport and sending the fire crews home. They're pulling the guys out of the towers and using Salte St. Marie radar instead.
