The Daytona 500 is my version of hearing the first robin.
Spring is a lot closer than in Nov.

Sounds like you got hit harder than I did.

I'm not sure how I managed to quit smoking and caffeine other than the 10 days in hospital (3 unconscious) and 10 days of recovery at home where I didn't want to do much of anything except take meds, sleep, and eat applesauce/jello.

But food tastes better now.  Even bland food tastes better.  Which is damn good because the wife has me on a low sodium, low fat, low cholesterol, count every calorie in a spreadsheet kinda diet thing.  Taking pills like candy.

It rained today.  I didn't go ducking for cover though.  I let it get me wet, because if I hadn't survived I'd be dry in a glued shut Folgers can and wouldn't be able to get wet at all.

I wish you were here to hear both.
