Fixed the water main, some nimrod had the main coiled with over 10ft of heat tape and i had about 1-1/2 feet of hose that had none, so that part froze up and the ice jammed the rod that the handle that shuts off the main goes to (and i had shut it off to protect it overnight so that took some work to defrost) but then i still had 1ft of ice left in the hose, so i uncoiled part of the main heat tape and had that extra foot covered up plus redid the main itself. no more frozen water lines  :w00t:

My inlet is still prone to freezing but thankfully all that takes is some boiling water and it's fixed.

Plus i finally got the new toilet in, gawd how i love having one that works now! :D that cheap-o plastic one that was OEM was total crap. it's a real one, the kind used in homes. not those crappy RV ones. with winter still there at the time i also ripped out the propane oven/stove and completed my built-in electric griddle iron plus use the space that the rest of it hogged for a nice built-in surround sound system  :w00t:

Now except the frozen pipe again, I fail to see the "weather"- hence the "Official Weather Thread". :whist:
Not Nicks plumbing day. :whist:

So now it's above freezing and raining, then it's gonna get cold again by morning.
All that high snow will come down in height, but then everything will freeze. :x

Rain, sleet, snow, slush, a ton of ice, and come Monday I'm going to go back to work and PT again.

Hoo-ray.  :pound:

haha the temp is 65*F now i'm warm and you're cold how ironic!  :D supposed to be in the 40s-50s all week too  :w00t:

The disadvantage (as usual during winter)? T-storms, monsoons, and the grey gloomy look.

Was 12F, then a warm front came in and it's 52F w/ pouring rain.
At least I don't have to shovel rain and the show banks will come down in size.

It's cool, like 2F :brow:

Got more snow, shoveled, had a smoke & a beverage.
Wondered why it got dark all the sudden?
Snowing hard again.

its -17 out here but no snow coming down. we got that the other day. I never bothered clearning the car off but did it today to go out. Got gas and it spilt out of the nozzle on the side of the car so I had to wash that off and the water was turning to ice the second it touched the car. We had rain the end of last week that cleaned the car off but the roads are dry and covered in salt now that is blowing everywhere so the car is all dirty again. At leat its white so it doesnt show as much.

26*F today, about 18*F tonight, and then tommorrow it's going to be 53*F and then 30s at night. that constant up/down swinging is what gets me prone to catching colds. my body just doesn't like to change that much in one day :D

Was 60*F yesterday. i could do without the violent winds though. south winds from 40MPH, then switching to frigid NW winds at up to 60MPH. geez  :hmm:

Best part so far? first Nov/Dec with ZERO snow!  :w00t: let's see if i can live one year without the mess of that plus salt.
